The french version of the book will be published in november by La maison d’edition (LME). Photographs, light painting by Christopher Hibbert and stories by Gilles Garidel.
Printed next friday, I will try to put online a movie clip about the process and once published, I will list the different ways to buy the book.
It will be possible to order it directly contacting me. In that case, the book will be signed and dedicated.

The light painting of Christopher Hibbert are different because there is a story behind each of them. People are invited to share the life of families, – parents, children, friends.. A mix of real scenes and virtual, imaginary people. The book present about 80 photographs and stories but also a technical part explaining how to realize light painting (tools, settings, advices, examples..). Camera settings are given for each light painting shown in the book.

First of all, the blackberry’s specifications make it a great tool to show my photographs.
The display is amazing: sharp and clear images, great color range, powerful zoom and nice screen size (480×320).
Because of the large internal memory ( 1GB ), I manage to keep high resolution photographs in it. I can keep on me jpg files enough large to allow great quality standard prints. Useful when I wan t to show my work on paper : 1h photo service and here you go.. show your photographs having a coffee wherever you are.

Connected to all my social communities ( Facebook, Myspace, Flickr, Twitter ) I can easily upload photographs and keep in touch with my followers using the available apps for blackberry.
I just downloaded Wicked Wordpress for blackberry; an app allowing you to manage your Wordpress blogs from your mobile. I am actually trying the app during the 14 days trial and so far it is easy to use, powerful and well designed. Soon available for Blogger and Tumblr, you should give it a try !

Concerning the inspiration and news about photography/design, I am using Viigo as a rss reader. Here are the great websites I am following : Abduzeedo, Smashing Magazine, Crackberry.

Sending and reading emails every days, sharing my photographs, editing and writing documents ( pdf contracts etc ).. it seems to me that blackberry is just perfect for my business.
